Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola studied architecture and design in Madrid and Milan, graduating under Achille Castiglioni. She has received major honors in Spain, including the Golden Medal for Merit in Fine Arts. In 2001, she founded her own studio, focusing on product design, architecture, art direction, and consulting. Since 2015, she has been Creative Director of Cassina and has collaborated with leading global brands across design, fashion, and hospitality.
She also contributes to academia and cultural institutions, serving on advisory boards, teaching, and lecturing internationally. Her work is exhibited in major museums worldwide, including MoMA in New York and the V&A in London. Urquiola has been named Designer of the Year by several top design publications.
